Kingston City Council is the municipal governing body, with a mayor and twelve councillors, for each city district. Council is elected for a four-year term, the current council began its term on December 2, 2014, when they were sworn into office.

Attend or Watch Council Meetings

Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings of Kingston City Council, regularly scheduled every first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.  in Council Chambers, City Hall, 216 Ontario Street. Check the city website for an updated calendar of meetings and any date or location changes.
