City of Kingston’s New Chief Administrative Officer

At tonight’s City Council meeting, Mayor Paterson announced that Lanie Hurdle has been appointed as the new Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Kingston. Lanie has nearly 20 years of experience in the municipal sector and has held several different leadership positions since joining the City back in 2006. For the last eight years, Lanie served as the Commissioner of Community Services and as Acting/Interim CAO since January. Lanie replaces Gerard Hunt who stepped down as CAO in July of 2019.

“I am delighted that Lanie Hurdle has accepted the position of CAO for the City of Kingston,” says Mayor Paterson. “Throughout her career, Lanie has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a passionate commitment to the well-being of our community. City Council is excited to work with her to achieve Council’s strategic priorities in the coming years.”
