We’ve officially launched a major visioning and capital planning initiative for Memorial Centre, Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, and Centre 70. This is about reimagining these spaces for the next 20+ years – creating vibrant, inclusive, and active places for our community.
Since Council approved the project’s design criteria last September, we’ve hit an exciting milestone and have entered an exciting key phase of the project – and this is where you come in!
Over the past month, we connected with the community through a series of in-person engagement sessions across the city. The feedback we heard has been incredibly valuable, and now we’re looking to build on that input.
We want to hear how you use these spaces, what you love, what could be better, and what you envision for the future.
The easiest way to get involved right now is by completing the online survey. It only takes a few minutes, and it will have a real impact on the decisions we make moving forward. Make sure to share your input before May 13, 2026 at GetInvolved.CityofKingston.ca
This is your chance to help shape the future of recreation in Kingston – not just for today, but for generations to come.
So please, take the survey, share it with your friends and neighbours, and stay tuned for more opportunities to get involved
